"Too many books?" I believe the phrase you’re looking for is "not enough bookshelves".

"I’m the kind of girl who fantasizes about being trapped in a library overnight."

I’ve always loved Fantasy. The maps, particularly drew me in. I loved learning the geography of a new world, the customs of it’s people, how everything worked—it’s always fascinated me. Whether or not there’s magic in the world I’m reading about, the creation of an entirely new world has always been magical to me.

how do you like the series. I have the first book but haven’t started yet. Is it worth the read?

I absolutely adore this series and I’d highly recommend it. I’d go as far to say it’s one of my favourite series. I’m just so immersed in the world and it’s been a while since a series has done that for me. It’s gripping, original, hilarious, heartbreaking and so incredibly well-written. I’ve laughed out loud reading these books, I’ve been on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens, and I’ve been close to tears. The characters are fantastic, as is the bond between them. When you meet Locke, Jean and the other Gentlemen Bastards you’ll get what I mean. There’s also some incredible female characters, particularly in Red Seas Under Red Skies, and they have such powerful roles. Just be aware that there’s a lot of very creative swearing and the book might start slow but trust me, you’ll want to keep reading. ;)
I’ve got a review for The Lies of Locke Lamora HERE if you need more detailed convincing
